The task organised frequent workshops and gender-recognition teaching throughout its 8 spouse institutions right before the team greatly disseminated their ‘Best techniques for structural changes’ brochure. This publication inspired the institutions to introduce 13 gender equality actions, these as introducing a code of conduct, giving a re-entry grant just after household breaks, and location up a women’s government board, all built to depict the interests of feminine experts inside the organisation.

The task also designed a methodology to tutorial maritime experts via a established of inquiries drawn up to support them contemplate how gender might be relevant for the style, implementation and consequence of their initiatives. ‘The Baltic Gender mentoring programme offers distinctive initiatives, workshops and international networking alternatives,’ states Jaspers. ‘One and a 50 % decades of Baltic Gender mentoring gave me independence via teaching and economical support.’
